The Beyerdynamic MMX 300 has long been a legend among gaming headsets and undoubtedly belongs to the reference class. Now the manufacturer is finally introducing two new gaming headsets, the MMX 100 and the MMX 150.
Heilbronn-based audio manufacturer Beyerdynamic today announced two new gaming headsets. The makers of the legendary MMX 300 are now introducing the MMX 100 and the MMX 150.
The MMX 100 is an analog gaming headset and is compatible with all platforms that have an analog output with a 4-pin and 2×3-pin 3.5 mm jack connector – ideal for connection to a gaming controller. The MMX 150 is a digital USB gaming headset with an integrated sound card and tuned features.
The built-in 40 mm driver systems with a frequency range of 5 to 30,000 Hz have been specially optimized for gaming by beyerdynamics’ acoustic engineers and should ensure clear and precise sound, but also enable good sound localization. Both headsets have the new META VOICE cardioid condenser microphone, which is supposed to ensure natural voice transmission without background noise.
The control elements are located directly on both headphones. The MMX 150 also has a light guide system on the control element to make functions such as augmented mode and mute visually visible. In the augmented mode of the MMX 150, the ambient noise is recorded and mixed into the playback signal in real time. Interaction with the outside world is possible without having to interrupt the game and awareness of your own voice reproduction and volume is always guaranteed.
The MMX 100 is available from today for EUR 99.00 and the MMX 150 for EUR 129.00 in the beyerdynamic online shop and on Amazon as well as in selected countries and from selected retail partners. Both headsets are available in gray and black.
