Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is about to host another free week.
To celebrate the second season of the game-will start on Thursday- Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War A full week of multiplayer mode will be selected for free.
The special focus of this free week is from February 25th to March 4th. This is the recently released burst mode, a large-scale zombie experience in the game’s Fireteam map. In “Outbreak”, a group of four people set out to solve various goals and fight with zombies, choosing when to extract and when to continue to get higher rewards.
During the free weekend, you can access multiple multiplayer playlists, including “Apocalypse 24/7” showing the new map. You will also find dedicated playlists for gun games, 2v2 gunfight blueprints and 3v3 confrontations. More traditional multiplayer game modes (such as “Team Deathmatch” and “Domination”) will also have their own playlists. The Fireteam mode for 40 people is also part of the free weekend.
The free weekend starts in Season 2, 10 am US Eastern Time, 1 pm US Eastern Time, 6 pm UK Thursday, February 25. It can be used on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
Finally, Treyarch announced that during the first weekend of the season, dual XP and dual weapon XP will be used. This applies to all players, including non-owners of the game. The promotion is valid until March 1.
