Blizzard has announced its first Warcraft game designed exclusively for mobile, Warcraft Arc Rumble.
The game is an action strategy game where you will assemble your army with characters from World of Warcraft and fight in various missions as you command digital tabletop miniature troops in multi-line operations.
In it, you’ll be tasked w ith building mini-troops, starting with leaders like Warsong Chief Grommash Hellscream and Archmage Jaina Proudmoore. You’ll then populate it with Arclight-enhanced armies with normal army minis and powerful spells.
It will offer a single-player experience with over 70 missions, as well as weekly and monthly challenges in the form of multi-part dungeons, raids, and more. You can also play with others in competitive or cooperative game modes and join guilds.
Over 60 heroes, villains, monsters and more from World of Warcraft have been presented as miniatures in tabletop style and brought to life for you to collect, level up and enhance your talents. You can seek synergies, or just build some interesting armies around various characters.
The game also features conquest missions that will earn additional rewards by replaying levels with the leaders of the five clans.
These families are Alliance, Beast, Undead, Horde and Blackrock.
You can expect an “authentic Warcraft vibe” as there will be references and gameplay elements directly inspired by the characters, locations and events in strategy games and World of Warcraft.
