Tomorrow, June 16th, we’ll be doing an impromptu Diablo 4 stream dedicated to responding to player feedback since the game’s launch, and explaining how seasons work (with question marks on them).
The show will also delve into various topics that players have been asking Blizzard to address, Diablo general manager Rod Ferguson confirmed.
The live stream starts at 11am PT / 2pm ET / 7pm BST. You’ll be able to watch it on Diablo’s Twitch and YouTube channels. Considering how far we are from the start of the first season of Diablo 4, Blizzard may not get into the details of the seasonal content, but we are definitely looking forward to more details on the structure of Diablo’s seasons compared to other games. . However, we may not get a season 1 release date.
Blizzard says this is the first Diablo 4 Campfire chat, so it’s likely the first of many. More broadly, we want the developers to address the constant nerfing of dungeons, and the character classes the game has been receiving since launch. In Diablo 4, dedicated players have certainly exhausted the avenues to farm effectively, and they are making their voices heard.
While this will only affect players who are putting in far more hours than average in the game, the slow rate of XP gain and Blizzard’s constant need to cripple powerful builds are both issues that need to be addressed.
Hopefully this will be the start of Blizzard communicating with viewers on a regular basis.
