Diablo IV’s fourth season is coming to an end, which actually means Blizzard is ready to talk more about season 5. That’s exactly what we’ll see during the upcoming developer update livestream next week.
Today, Blizzard announced the show’s date, time, and everything else the developer will discuss during the show.

The next developer update will be Thursday, August 1Thursday is the most popular time for these live broadcasts, so it tracks. The show starts on 11am PT, 2pm ET, 7pm UK
This is also the livestream where Blizzard discusses the changes made since the recent PTR for Season 5. Expect to hear all about game systems, balance (the big change this season), and all the other tweaks made based on player feedback.
Community Manager Marcus Kretz and Community Director Adam Fletcher will host members of the development team for the event. As always, you can watch on the official Diablo channels on YouTube, Twitch, and Twitter.
Next week’s show will be the first since last week’s Spiritborn class reveal. Season 5 will be shorter than previous seasons so that Season 6 can begin after the release of the Vessel of Hatred expansion on October 8.
Chances are, we’ll learn the full official name of Season 5, among other things on the schedule next week. Until then, you can enjoy Season 4: Loot Reborn until August 6.
