Again and again there was speculation about a sequel or new edition of Bloodborne, but nothing has manifested itself so far. According to a usually well-informed leaker, that is about to change.
In the past there have been rumors surrounding the action franchise Bloodborne. Sometimes there was talk of a sequel, another time of a drilled new edition of the first part. The speculations about the latter are now being fueled again.
This is how the leaker shows itself SoulsHunt convinced that such a remaster of Bloodborne is actually in the works. This should appear for the PlayStation 5, and a PC version will follow at a later date.
SoulsHunt is by no means unknown and has often been correct with his information. Among other things, he also leaked the Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, which was only announced at this year’s E3. If he is right again this time, the remaster will not be developed by Bluepoint Games or From Software itself. Nevertheless, it should be an “ambitious” remaster, although he does not name a developer.
The release of the new edition of Bloodborne is planned for this year – at least on the PS5.
As for the PC port, there have been rumors for a long time. However, there has never been an official announcement to date. Waiting for a Bloodborne 2 should be in vain, because From Software prefers to concentrate on working on new game brands. After Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Elden Ring is set to cause a sensation in January 2022.
