We probably don't need to philosophize any further about Bloodborne's relevance in the Souls-like genre. Since its release in 2015, fans have been waiting for something new, but apart from strange rumors and supposed hidden messages, things have been very quiet. Now Sony itself is getting in on the act and kidding us.
It's actually a nice thing when a company's marketing department shows humor and jumps on memes from the community. What the German PlayStation account has now done on the social media platform Twitter (now also known as X) borders on cheeky trolling.

Out of nowhere, the account published a post with direct reference to the PlayStation 4-exclusive From Software role-playing game Bloodborne. Of course, you don't need to expect any concrete information or other details; instead, the news plays on the untold amounts of copium that fans have been inhaling since its release in 2015.
So it's simply written there: “We say: Bloodborne. You say?” The account is of course clearly alluding to the pleas of many fans for a remastered version, a remake, a second part or simply any news from Yharnam.
We say: Bloodborne.
You say?

The replies under the post are somewhere between hopeful and outraged. One user writes, “You can't just throw that out,” while another jokingly says, “PlayStation's Community Manager wants to spice things up today and live dangerously.”
It's interesting why an official account suddenly makes direct reference to Bloodborne. After all, there are no such contributions on the international accounts. Who knows, maybe it's also a disappointed fan who wanted to heat up the discussion again using the means at his disposal.
