A few weeks ago, rumors were circulating that Bloodborne should celebrate a comeback on the PS5. This speculation is now getting new nourishment.
In June, the renowned leaker SoulsHunt drew attention to itself with a statement about Bloodborne. This had previously leaked Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, for example, before it was actually announced at the digital E3 2021. This time he announced that the action epic Bloodborne should be reissued in “ambitious” form for PS5.
Official confirmation is still pending, but such speculations are now being fueled. This time the insider Demonite contacted the gaming forums 4chan
What does Demonite say now? The new edition should be called Bloodborne: Hunter’s Edition and should fix the biggest problem of the original game: the unstable frame rate. Accordingly, there should now be a performance mode with 60 fps at a 1440p resolution with upscaling to 4K on the more powerful PS5. In quality mode, the title should be displayed at 30 fps, but it also offers ray tracing. There should also be an implementation on the PC that should be sealed off at 60 fps.
According to the leaker, there will still be no completely new areas in the game itself, but the areas of Cainhurst Castle and Cathedral Ward will be expanded and expanded compared to the original. In addition, six new weapons are planned: three each for the left and right hand. For the left hand it should be Cosmic Revolver, Impact Rifle and The Great One’s Touch, for the right hand it should be Cainhurst Flail, Coldblood Coil and Kos Placenta.
The upgrade to the more comprehensive and technically upgraded version, which is to be released as Director’s Cut, should cost owners of the original game $ 20. If you already have the The Old Hunters DLC, you still have to shell out 10 dollars, but buyers of the Game of the Year Edition should receive the upgrade free of charge.
The official confirmation of the quite detailed leaks is still pending.
