News culture “Bloody and violent” Season 2 of the Lord of the Rings series will be completely different: Amazon leaves nothing to chance
After a season that built up the universe and introduced the protagonists of the Rings of Power series, season 2 should be much more interesting on screen: violence and blood are definitely there – YOU!
A Season 1 that lays the foundation for the Rings of Power series
Season 1 of the series “The Rings of Power” left a rather bitter aftertaste with viewers. With the introduction of a large number of characters with very little development, an incoherent plot as the information continues to be conveyed and a very uneven pace; Not all viewers were convinced by this adaptation of the Tolkien universe.
Despite the lack of fidelity to the spirit of the Lord of the Rings trilogy or even The Hobbit, the first season of Rings of Power consisted mainly of a long series of chapters without any real action scene, but only dialogues about situations we do not yet know; it lays the foundation for the conflict between good and evil.
However, curiosity began to grow at the very end, when one saw Sauron forging the One Ring and Galadriel preparing for an inevitable war. A thrilling cliffhanger that arouses curiosity and Amazon will obviously not disappoint us.
A much more dynamic season 2 for “The Rings of Power”?
The latest trailer for the Rings of Power series isn’t very exciting; we don’t see much of what the Orcs’ story arc might bring. We know there will be some a return to the origins of Adarincluding the confrontation with the Dark Lord, but these simple ideas do not allow us to realize what really awaits us.
Although we don’t expect anything, we are still afraid of being disappointed, but this fear seems to be in vain. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly: Sam Hazeldinethe actor who takes on the role of Adar and thus replaces Joseph Mawle, took the liberty of making a brief comment on the second season. According to his feedback, it will be much more exciting and start with a bang. In fact, Sam Hazeldine says he was surprised at the turn Season 2 took, as it was so bloody and violent.
So there is hope! See you on August 29th on Amazon Prime Video to discover the new, much darker season of the Rings of Power series.
