A new rumor claims Crash 4: It’s time developer toys for bob A new entry in the series may be being written.

Despite reports last year that Toys for Bob had changed direction to assist development Call of Duty: Warzonea new announcement suggests the developers are working on a multiplayer Crash Bandicoot game (thanks to GAMINGbible).

That claim comes from industry insider Jez Corden, speaking on the Xbox Chaturdays podcast. And there will likely be an announcement at an upcoming showcase. “I think there’s going to be a new Crash game coming out of Toys for Bob,” Rand al Thor 19 said when discussing a potential game.

Corden, in turn, responded to the claim, saying “New debacle? I wonder where he got this information from. […] I shouldn’t have leaked that. […] I think we could see another Crash Bandicoot. It’s not just a new Crash Bandicoot, it’s also going to be a multiplayer Crash Bandicoot. […] It’s like a four-player fighting game, but it’s almost crashing. “

It’s important to note that this is just a rumor, so there may not be any results. However, VGC did report last year that Bob’s Toys was hiring for a project unrelated to Call of Duty, so that’s entirely possible.

Crash 4 launched at the end of 2020, but our review of the sequel has not been fully endorsed, appreciating the graphics, art direction and enemy design, but still wanting more from the game’s level design. Maybe multiplayer games will bring a new twist to traditional platform games.

Bob’s toy has already started work on Call of Duty, presumably Crash and co, so this rumor does offer some hope for Bandicoot fans. Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard may have nothing to do with its actual existence, although it fits with the former’s desire to bring back some classic games. Even the crash didn’t really go away that long.
