Anyone who has been craving for supplies in the Borderlands 3 loot shooter since the release in September is finally heard. Gearbox Software has released the additional content "Moxxi's Attack on the Handsome Jackpot" for PC, PS4 and Xbox One after prior announcement.
It is the first paid campaign add-on in which the formerly opulent space station casino from Handsome Jack awaits you with all kinds of new adventures and opponents. Of course, new loot can also be dusted off.
After the casino was locked for seven years, Moxxi asked you to help her take control of the Handsome Jackpot – as the ultimate act of revenge against her evil ex Handsome Jack. He was long dead at this point, but the former president of Hyperion Corporation is still showing his presence there and will not give up his casino named after him without a fight.
The first of a total of four planned add-ons as part of the Super Deluxe Edition or Season Pass is also available separately at a price of 14.99 euros. However, the main game is required in any case. To get the Handsome Jackpot, you must also have access to Good Sanctuary III by completing Episode 5 of the main story.
Those who have not yet struck can also take advantage of discounts on Borderlands 3 on the holidays. Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition and Super Deluxe Edition are available with discounts of up to 35 percent on the Xbox One, PS4, Epic Games Store (PC) and Google Stadia platforms. The campaign periods look as follows:
- Stadia: December 17th to January 7th
- Xbox One: December 19 through January 2
- Epic Games Store (PC, Mac): December 19 to January 7
- PlayStation 4: December 20th to January 6th
