While quite a few players are already having fun in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Borderlands 3 is apparently far from over, because Gearbox is still bringing a long-awaited feature.
Borderlands 3 has been out for a good two and a half years now, but one feature was dropped from the game some time ago. Cross-play has existed since last May, but the feature was removed from the game for Playstation, so that only players on PC, Xbox and Stadia were able to gamble with players from other platforms. It was never really clear why the Playstation was excluded.
But it’s not too late to fix this quirk. As Gearbox has now confirmed, full cross-play is coming back into play, so Playstation players can play with other platforms again. An exact date for this has not yet been given, but “later in the spring” doesn’t leave that much room now. By June at the latest, the communities should be able to go into battle together again.
