Valid until February 13, Rare treasure chest wealth greatly enhances your chance to get legendary loot from any red treasure chest.

Red chests are usually created at the end of the boss battle, so the easiest way to cultivate is to quickly go to any boss you want to fight, defeat them and open the chest. By exiting the main menu and reloading, you can repeat this process as many times as needed.

Red Treasure Chests are also scattered throughout the vast world of Borderlands 3, so you should visit any existing places you already know and open them. However, here is a simple and repeatable route that allows you to quickly hit three red boxes.

How to Plant a Red Treasure Chest at the Rare Treasure

• Your first stop is the hidden room behind the Marcus vending machine. Go to Marcus Ammunition Icon and pull down to find the box.
• Next, go to Ellie's Garage. On the left side of the garage, hop on the flat car until you reach the roof, where you will find another red box.
• Put the box behind you, look towards the horizon, and walk down the road. Continue hugging the rock wall on the left until the road separates. Look up and you will see Ellie's Billboard, Climb up the rock until you reach the top of the mountain. You will find a third box in the car trunk / truck.

After pressing all three buttons, exit the main menu and reload the game to regenerate the chest.
