The loot shooter Borderlands 3 is all about getting rare items – and that should be easier for you now for a while. After the end of the "Farm Fever" event, the current Gearbox title continues with a new in-game event.
The two-week "Rare Chest Riches" mini-event has now started; this will end on February 13th. What can you expect? From now on, the rare crates are more generous and the difficulty scaling when eliminated as well as increased spawn and drop rates for rare opponents become permanent features.
Has the pleasant side effect for you: In all rare boxes you now have a greater chance of legendary objects in general. This increased drop rate also applies if you watch a Twitch streamer opening a rare box, if you both do Echo cast Twitch extension activated. You will receive rewards from watching streamers in the mailbox the next time you log in to the game.
The scaling event at "Elimination in the Maliwan secret facility" will also not end today as originally planned, but will remain in place permanently.
