Borderlands 3 players can look forward to a mini-event again. “Show Me the Eridium” recently made its comeback and will be available for a few days.
If you want to spend some time with Borderlands 3 over the extended Easter weekend, you can look forward to the mini-event “Shoe Me the Eridium”, which has now returned. The event is already running and preparing for further innovations from April 8, 2021.
As part of “Show Me the Eridium” you can collect more Eridium until April 8th, because normal opponents drop more of it; this is even more true in chaos mode. On the other hand, playing on Moxxi’s chamber line slot machines costs less Eridium and all objects sold by Crazy Earl in the hold of Sanctuary III are reduced in price. So you can prepare yourself excellently for the next raid boss.
From April 8th there will be two new machines in the base game: Crazy Earl’s new throw and Maurice’s black market machine; both will be available to all players at no additional cost.
Crazy Earl’s new throw offers advantages for vault hunters who want to get the most out of their equipment. Crazy Earl’s device replaces the existing anointing of a certain object in exchange for a little valuable eridium. Anointed objects hold powerful effects that can unlock the character’s full potential. By re-throwing the anointing of your favorite pieces of equipment, you can create the optimal equipment.
All we know about Maurice’s black market machines so far is that they contain high-level, legendary loot and that they will appear in a new location from the base game every week. The Borderlands community has to find Maurice’s black market vending machine every week to see what’s on offer.
