If you continue to play the popular loot-shooter Borderlands 3, you can look forward to a new mini-event. This increases the drop chance of legendary objects.

The hunt for loot in Borderlands 3 will get support from the developers over the next few days. They have now announced a new mini-event, which will be held in-game and is called "Farm Fever".

What's it all about? From January 16 to 30, 2020, the best equipment in the current serial branch will temporarily be easier to get hold of. So if you are still looking for certain rare items and want to find and eliminate the exotic opponents, you now have a more suitable opportunity than before.

Reason: Rare opponents appear more often during the event and also drop the very special legendary equipment more often if you defeat them. In addition, "Elimination in the Maliwan secret facility" will be easier for small groups and single players, so that the relevant bosses and legendary loot are to be moved closer together.

The features of the mini event are specified by Gearbox itself as follows:

  • Rare spawns are guaranteed to appear;
  • There is a higher chance that all enemies with special loot pools (e.g. rare spawns, named bosses, etc.) will drop legendary gear;
    • In addition, the frequency of anointing for this equipment increases;
  • The difficulty of elimination in the Maliwan secret system is adjusted to the size of the player group, instead of being designed for groups of four players by default (only on PC, PS4 and Xbox One).
