There will be plenty to do in Borderlands 3 from tomorrow, as “True Trials” is a new series of mini-events.
Starting tomorrow, May 13th, Borderlands 3 will see the launch of a brand new series of limited-time mini-events. Under the name “True Trials” you can expect never-before-seen challenges that are aimed at battle-hardened players among you. Background: The final bosses on the test area maps get really massive damage and health buffs and are therefore particularly difficult to defeat. Those who master such a “True Trial” receive correspondingly good rewards.
Each exam on the test site will be expanded into a “True Trial” over the next six weeks. If you win, you can look forward to one of two legendary objects. The rewards vary from week to week, but there will always be one from the base game’s loot pool and one from one of the six add-ons. In order to equip the loot from an add-on, you actually have to own it.
In addition, at the end of the week’s “True Trial”, the box is always full to the brim with legendary objects, regardless of how quickly the test was mastered or how many goals were achieved. The first test is called “True Trial of Survival” and starts tomorrow at 6:00 pm in Devil’s Razor (Pandora) with The Lob and Lucky 7 as a reward.
With the end of the “True Trials” the next big seasonal event called “Revenge of the Cartels” awaits you. Here’s another chance to thwart the plans of Joey Ultraviolet and his loyal gang. The starting shot should be given on June 24th.
