“Borderland 3” will host a three-week arms race mini-event.
It’s arms race time Borderlands 3, You can participate in a three-week small event starting from today (ie January 21).
The arms race is a rogue-like experience with random elements. In it, you are deprived of all equipment, passive abilities and action skills, and fall into an area where loot or death attempts are necessary.
The operation was carried out in the Tempest Building, which is a decommissioned DAHL military base. Once you fall on the island, you will need to knock down the clock, grab the best gear, and reach the extraction point, and then take yourself away by the storm.
During this time, you will also fight Heavyweight Harker, the final boss of the Stormblind Complex. You will be able to resurrect your fallen partner at the rebirth point, but if no one is around to resurrect you, you will lose.
In the next three weeks, you can expect the following results:
- Week 1-clear sky: The start time of the first week is 5pm GMT on January 21st. This is a clear sky mini event. During this period, closed storms will take longer to close. This means you can safely browse more maps in one run. In addition, all types of enemies are more likely to drop rare equipment when killed in this event, so make sure to shoot down every enemy in sight.
- Second week-additional withdrawal: From the Extra Extra Extraction small event starting at 5pm GMT on January 28, the chances of Air Drops surrendering DAHL treasure chests will be greatly increased, thereby creating more opportunities to obtain Arms Race exclusive equipment. In addition, the extraction station will provide additional slots, allowing you to extract more equipment from Arms Race.
- Week three-gear grab: The third small event, Gear Rush, will start at 5pm GMT on February 4. In the Gear Rush small event, rare chests are more likely to appear in Arms Race, and the Green DAHL chests located in the main attractions in the Stormblind Complex have more chances to contain Arms Race special equipment. But make sure you don’t spend too much time admiring the discovered equipment, as the murderer will approach at a faster rate.
The mini event is open to all players who have the Designer’s Cut add-on or Season Pass 2. Season Pass 2 and Designer’s Cut add-ons are available on PC, Stadia, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox series X|S.
