The cast list for the Borderlands movie just keeps growing. Now another actress has joined who has already worked with video games.
The new addition to the now quite illustrious cast list is the actress and musician Janina Gavankar. However, she does not take on the role of a well-known character, but of a new character created for the film. As Commander Knoxx, she plays the daughter of General Knoxx, known from the Borderlands DLC Secret Armory of General Knoxx.

Gavankar has appeared in a variety of films and series over the past 20 years, including some episodes of Sleepy Hollow, Detective Laura Diamond, and True Blood. Gavankar also has video gaming experience, thanks to various language roles in Far Cry 4, Horizon: Zero Dawn and Star Wars: Battlefront II.
Gavankar joins several household names for the film, including Cate Blanchett as Lilith, Jack Black as Claptrap, Jamie Lee Curtis as Dr. Tannis, Ariana Greenblatt as Tiny Tina, Florian Munteanu as Krieg, and Kevin Hart as Roland.
The large add-on Director’s Cut is now available for the loot shooter Borderlands 3.
