If you want to save the most on the new Google Pixel 9a, you use a cell phone tariff bundle. Blue has an exciting offer ready for this – is that worth it?

With the brand new Pixel 9a, the popular Pixel 8a gets a successor. It is a bit larger, has a larger battery, offers more power and extended AI functions. We were already allowed to try the Google Pixel 9a.

Blue Allnet M: The tariff can do that

With the blue Allnet M you surf with up to 50 Mbit/s in the 5G network of the Telefónica. There are 20 GB of monthly data volume available. A flat rate for telephony and SMS in all German networks is included. EU roaming is also there as always. Blue also offers a free ESIM.

The larger tariffs are also worthwhile for the offer. There are 30 instead of 20 GB for 2 dollars more per month. For a total of 5 dollars per month, the data volume is doubled from 20 to 40 GB. In our view, 10 GB for only 1 euro less is hardly worthwhile.

Google Pixel 9a: The cell phone can do that

With a standard price of 549 dollars for the 128 GB variant, the Google Pixel 9a is part of the upper field of mid-range smartphones. It is more expensive compared to the middle class of Samsung. For this, the Pixel 9a offers something that the Galaxy A-Class cannot do: AI.

Google Gemini should accompany you intelligently in everyday life – mostly in the form of a voice assistant. So you can ask questions in general and content on the screen. Linking with Google apps and services is also possible. If AI functions are important to you, you don't go wrong with the Pixel 9a in the middle class.

Larger, more persistent, stronger

Pixel 9a has grown compared to Pixel 8a: instead of 6.1 inches, it is 6.3 inches in size – like the Pixel 9. Just like in Pixel 9, the Pixel 9a has the Google Tensor G4 chip. The battery rose from around 4,500 mAh to 5,100 mAh. Nevertheless, the 9a is a little easier compared to the predecessor.
