Bridgerton Season 2: Is Eloise Pregnant? Showrunner fuels the rumors with a photo!

Even before season 2 of “Bridgerton” starts on the Netflix streaming service, a photo is fueling the rumor mill.

It shows Eliose (Claudia Jessie) and Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) in conversation. Eloise has her hands on her stomach and there is a small bulge underneath. Showrunner Chris Van Dusen shared the picture on various social media channels with the words: “Friends until the end #Peneloise #March25 #Bridgerton #S2.”

Shortly after Van Dusen shared the picture, fans wrote in the comments, “Is Eloise pregnant????!!!!!” or “Whaaaaat a pregnant Eloise? I’m freaking out… and I’m sure she is too.”

It would be a big surprise, after all, Eloise is unmarried and will be introduced to society in season 2. Her story is not covered until Volume 5 of the books. In it she meets widower Sir Phillip Crane. So only season 5 should deal with their love story.

It seems unlikely that Eloise is pregnant. Actress Claudia Jessie was probably photographed in an “unfortunate” moment. It is possible that the Eloise actress is really pregnant. After all, at 32, she’s significantly older than her role, so it’s within the realm of possibility.
