Did you know that Bungie has been running an ARG (alternative reality game) in which many of them work together to unlock…the game reveals the date of the marathon? I certainly don't, but this is neither here nor here.
The important news is that Bungie is finally ready to show off the marathon gameplay on this Saturday's live broadcast.

This announcement comes from a series of very strange trailers, including some moving graphics that cause headaches, changing shapes and weird phrases that you can barely understand.
We're all happy Anything Bungie is often postponed, reportedly struggling extractor shooter. this Saturday,,,,, April 12 exist 10 pm ET, 1 pm ET, 6 pm ET, 7 pm ET Developers will host live streams on the game’s Twitch channel to reveal the marathon for the first time, provide some development updates, and hope to make some announcements worthy of news.
The troubled studio is currently in its worst times, with fate continuing to decline, and the community loses hope in the future of the game (and studio).
Bungie has long hoped that marathons will define its next era and bring back the attention of its long-standing developers. But, outside of some short trailers, Bungie doesn't produce anything to be excited about. The game was originally scheduled to be launched last year before it could be restored to 2025. It is said to be expected to be released this year, so hopefully Saturday's stream will provide a stable release date.
The marathon was announced in 2023 as a multiplayer-only, team-based extracted shooting game. After the original director of the game was let go, the game changed direction, and although it retained the extracted shooter game elements, it now also incorporates a hero/character-based mechanic.
Bungie really showed us how it would mix ideas, but it's hard to get excited about the game right now, especially in a market that is already full of different extract shooters.
