Will World of Warcraft: Classic continue? After phase 6 with the Naxxramas raid appeared in December, the nostalgia trip was considered over for many. In the original version of WoW, this was the last content that entered the game before the first add-on.
WoW Classic was really well received by the players and even brought many new players on board who had never touched the retail version of WoW. Many fans now hope that Classic will be continued with the first add-on “The Burning Crusade”. Official information about the release from Blizzard was not yet available, but there has now been a promising leak that places the release of TBC in the first half of the year.

Where does the information come from?
The leak comes from the streamer StaysafeTV, which has summarized all information about the TBC release in a YouTube video that we have included in the text below. The streamer first noticed a forum post that is said to have listed several specific dates for the release of TBC.
He had received this same information from several trustworthy sources, which he did not want to name further. The same information was also given to WoW player Nano, a member of Nostralius, who in one Tweet informed about it and thereby gave the leak even more weight.
When should TBC-Classic appear?
- Mid-February: start of the TBC beta
- April 14, 2021: The TBC 2.0 Prepatch appears
- May 4, 2021: The global release of The Burning Crusade
After the number of players has decreased significantly since the release of the last raid, fans can look forward to new content soon – should the data prove to be true.

How reliable is the information?
Blizzard had already sent a survey to Classic players in the past, which, among other things, referred to the integration of TBC. Only a few days ago there was a second surveywho wanted to know if the players were interested in a TBC expansion.
The leaked dates would also coincide with the schedule for the release of the original TBC expansion in 2007. Here, too, The Burning Crusade appeared about six months after Naxxramas found the game.

Likewise, the upcoming BlizzConline on February 19th and 20th is an excellent time to announce TBC. The TBC beta may start at the same time as the online event, which, according to the leak, should take place in mid-February.
