Apple has introduced the iPhone 16. We reveal when you can buy the new phones, how much money you have to spend on them and how you can secure a trade-in bonus of 120 dollars.

The rumor mill has been bubbling for months and now it’s finally here: the iPhone 16. Apple unveiled the latest generation of its cult phone at a keynote in Cupertino this evening. The iPhone 16 is not coming alone, of course, but comes with three sister models: the Plus, the Pro and the Pro Max.
Prices for the new iPhone generation start at 949 dollars. This means that Apple has not increased prices compared to the iPhone 15. How much you have to pay for the new Apple phone depends on the model and storage variant you choose. The following table gives you an overview:

iPhone 16: Prices
The choice of color has no influence on the price. The iPh one 16 is available in black, white, pink, green and blue. The Pro models, on the other hand, come in black, white, silver and gold.
You cannot buy the new iPhone models yet. Pre-sales at Apple and authorized retailers will officially start on Friday, September 13th. The models will then go on sale a week later on Friday, September 20th.
We strongly advise you to pre-order – especially if you are after a specific model and storage variant. In recent years, there have often been shortages of the Pro Max model in particular, especially the lower storage variants.
Vodafone lures with exchange bonus
You can save money with Apple and other providers if you trade in your old cell phone. Vodafone is offering a trade-in bonus of 120 dollars. This is granted to you if you buy one of the new iPhone 16 models from Vodafone by October 9th in conjunction with a GigaMobil, GigaMobil Young, Family Card or Smart XS tariff and trade in your old iPhone or Android phone, you will receive a credit of 10 dollars on your bill for 12 months.
This exchange bonus is paid in addition to the value of the old smartphone. However, Vodafone only accepts devices with a residual value of at least 1 euro. You can find out the value of your old mobile phone on this website determine.
But check all pre-order offers to see if they are from a real retailer. Cyber criminals are currently trying to lure you into a trap with fake iPhone 16 offers. You should be particularly critical if the offers promise a discount.
