By now we shouldn't be surprised about any crossover events that Activision is pulling out of the hat for Call of Duty. The latest collaboration for Black Ops 6 is a bit out of the ordinary.
We've already had Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj, Leatherface, various Terminators and the Shredder as crossover characters in Call of Duty. Now Activision and Treyarch have announced which immensely popular Netflix series they are teaming up with for the next event: Squid Game.

As is known, the second season of the Korean series will start on December 26, 2024 on the streaming giant, and the crossover event for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been announced for January 2025. But if you're expecting precise information about what to expect from the collaboration between Call of Duty and Squid Game, we're afraid we'll have to disappoint you. Apart from a small teaser, there is no more detailed information yet.

With Omnimovement there is a completely new movement system that really refreshes the multiplayer. The crossover with Squid Game will probably not only bring content for this game, but also the battle royale mode Warzone.
