Activision will open a selection of “Call of Duty: Black Ops” Cold War multiplayer playlists to anyone who does not own the full game.
To celebrate the new first season release and holiday, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Started a week-long free multiplayer game promotion.
A whole week: From December 17 (Thursday) to December 24 (Thursday), the selected multiplayer playlist will be available to everyone, regardless of whether they own the full game.
This promotion is already in effect and can be used on all platforms. Activision divides the week into two phases. The first phase ends on Monday, December 21st, offering team deathmatch, domination, the recently added 2v2 shootout, Nuketown Holiday 24/7 playlist and Raid the Mall playlist, including two new Season One maps.
The second phase of this free access takes place later on Monday and lasts until the end of the free week on Thursday. Everything from the first stage will continue to be available, but you will now also get Prop Hunt, Combined Arms: Harpoint and Fireteam: Dirty Bomb. The good news is that there are no map restrictions for both stages, so you should not be kicked out of the game.
In order to reach an agreement, Black Ops Cold War will also hold double XP and double weapon XP from today until Monday. From December 22nd to 28th, the dual battle pass level upgrade began.
To play for a free week on PlayStation, you first need to install Warzone and then find the activation token through the in-game franchise store. Unfortunately, this means you have to download some large GB. Things are easier on Xbox, you just need to find Black Ops Cold War Free Access in the store. On your PC, just download Battle.net and you will see the “Free Trial” option.
