dr Disrspect doesn’t take kindly to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. He found the scenes in the first trailer to be old-fashioned and unimpressive. He also took the opportunity to praise his own game to the skies.
During the Summer Games Fest 2022, Activision Blizzard showed scenes from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for the first time. They featured impressive lighting effects and water scenes. Twitch streamer Dr. Disrespect also saw the trailer and came to a very different conclusion.
He described the graphics engine as outdated and found what was shown to be unimpressive. dr Disrespect even upped the ante. He himself is currently working with his development studio on a game with the project name “Project Moon”. He can now show a screenshot of it and nothing he sees in Call of Duty can match his game. Big words, but he failed to provide proof.
In 2021, the Twitch star founded his own studio Midnight Society, which employs quite a few veterans from the video game industry. Former developers from Activision Blizzard, Bethesda and Electronic Arts work there, among others.
Almost 8 minutes of gameplay from the Dark Water level of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II was shown at the Summer Game Fest.
