On February 15th, the second season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 will start with a slight delay. A new roadmap reveals what to expect.
It’s the second round. The start of the season on February 15 is imminent and we now also know what innovations await you in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0. And that seems to be quite a lot. Highlights include a new map for Warzone 2.0 for DMZ and Resurgence, ranked play and four new maps, but also new weapons and the return of Daniel “Ronin” Shinoda.
Modern Warfare 2 players can enjoy the new standalone Ranked mode, created in partnership with the Call of Duty League. In it you can work your way up through seven different divisions and get special rewards.
The four new maps Dome, Zaya Observatory, Al Malik International and Valderas Museum await you right at the start of the season. There are also some recurring game modes such as Infected, Gun Game, Grind, Hardcore, Drop-Zone, All or Nothing and One in the Chamber. The second raid episode is also waiting for you during the season.
As is well known, Warzone 2.0 will receive the new map Ashika Island along with Resurgence mode and new events. In addition, Warzone should also receive some revisions. With the rushers comes a new enemy type that is designed more for close-range fights and should make you really uncomfortable.
But that’s not all of the innovations. You can get the complete package for the new season in the CoD-Devblog to heart, but bring some time – the list is long.
