After a postponement, the second part of “Dune” will not be released in cinemas until March 2024, but the current shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III already has corresponding content.
In cooperation with Legendary Entertainment, Activision Blizzard is already bringing content from the upcoming sci-fi blockbuster “Dune: Part 2” to the current Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III – even though the film itself will not be released until March 2024 after a postponement Cinemas are running.
So you can now expect two packages in the current Call of Duty: one with Paul Atreides, played by Timothee Chalamet, and one with Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, played by Austin Butler. Both DLCs are now available and the actors themselves have also viewed them. The additional content includes the two film characters as playable operators, so that they will already meet each other in Modern Warfare III and also in Warzone before they do the same in the long-awaited film sequel by Denis Villeneuve. In the upcoming Dune: Part 2, Paul Atreides continues his journey to seek revenge on the conspirators who destroyed his family and prevent a terrible future that only he can foresee.
As the royal heir to House Atreides, the Paul Atreides operator skin comes equipped with two weapon plans that have traces of Spice: the “Fremen Fighter” assault rifle and the “Desert Maula” hand cannon. There’s also the “Crysknife” melee weapon blueprint, which is carved from the tooth of a sandworm. Last but not least, this DLC brings with it the finishing move “Chip and Shatter”.
Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen exercises control over Arrakis in the film sequel for House Harkonnen. In addition to the corresponding operator skin, Baron Harkonnen’s nephew receives the two tracer weapon plans LMG “Harkonnen Terror” and SMG “The Face of Fear” in his DLC. In close combat, you can demonstrate skills with the melee weapon plan “Feyd’s Blade”; the finishing move is “Feyd’s Frenzy”.
