Now, the first Call of Duty: Modern Warfare season will last longer than originally planned.
Call of Duty: Modern War Developer Infinity Ward announced that the current season 1 game will end on February 11 for 8 days.
This should give players more time to catch up as the battle pass progresses. Infinity Ward said that the season is expanding to make room for new content that will run from now until the end of the season.
One of the newly added weapons is weapons: a, which is part of the challenge. From then on, other challenging and remixed game modes will also drop. The Infinite Ward even confirmed that there will be more dual XP, dual weapon XP and dual level upgrade days.
The first of these happened this weekend, using dual weapon XP. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long to find out more about the and everything else in the first season. It is unclear whether it will begin immediately after the second season.
This week's "Modern Wars" playlist update introduces 3v3 shootouts and brings back Shoot House 24/7, and adds the Gunners game to the Quick Play filter list.
