Game news Call of Duty Vanguard: Players are shocked by Zombies mode and let it know!
That’s it, the long-awaited Call of Duty: Vanguard is finally out today and mixed reviews of Activision’s title, sponsored by Sledgehammer Games, are spreading like wildfire across the internet. The reactions can also be felt on the part of the players, as one of the most popular modes in the series falls short of expectations!
The output of Call of Duty: Vanguard was expected at the turn of many fans of the license, eager to discover the specifics of this new campaign and to chain the games in multiplayer, be it on the traditional maps of this opus or on Zombies mode
A game mode as soft as zombies
Press reviews aside, Activision and Sledgehammer had to take a close look at player criticism, but shouldn’t expect it too hard. On Reddit, Call of Duty enthusiasts are scourging both the main campaign and multiplayer for Call of Duty: Vanguard, but it is certainly the dismay at the game’s zombies mode that finds the greatest consensus.
More and more messages are posted on social networks and whoever points the finger at the mistakes of the game gets the most approval from other users. There are many reasons cited by everyone, but what stands out the most is the lack of original content in the game mode or the very repetitive aspect of this part of the multiplayer.
Especially since as the developers at Treyarch explained working on this part of Call of Duty: Vanguard, Zombies Mode will be fed by a main quest next month and a lot of other content will be introduced at the beginning of Season 1.
Ultimately, the reception from the players is rather cold. If you still haven’t got your hands on the latest title from Activision’s flagship franchise, We invite you to consult our review or watch our few minutes of gameplay dedicated to this famous game mode, which is therefore far from unanimous.
