The release of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is just around the corner – and there will also be a first big launch event. We’ll tell you here what exactly awaits you in “Operation: Day Zero”.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile finally starts on March 21st and the launch event starts just one day later. This is called “Operation: Day Zero” and, in a sense, welcomes you to the new mobile shooter.
In this in-game event, six different and contested zones await you on the maps Verdansk and Rebirth Island. There you have to master various challenges in order to complete community challenges together with other gamers and to collect event points yourself to win individual rewards. You can even benefit from this in Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare III.
Five of the contested zones are on Verdansk, one on Rebirth Island. If you complete certain event actions there, you will receive XP. The amount of such Event Points varies based on the Event Action completed. The latter include, for example:
- Opening a supply crate or a day zero supply delivery.
- The elimination of enemy players.
- Completing an order.
- The use of a kill streak.
- Scoring a headshot.
- Purchasing items from supply stations.
When the event begins, the first zone will be activated. Then, perform the above actions when in an active zone to secure XP for yourself and the community. The following community rewards can ultimately be obtained:

- Scorched Beginnings Animated Calling Card: Secure Zone 2
- Golden Flames Emblem: Secure Zone 3
- X12 Weapon Blueprint “Golden Flame”: Secure Zone 4
- M4 Weapon Blueprint “Fierce Thunder”: Secure Zone 5
- Get the Golden Phantom Operator Skin for Ghost: Zone 6
