Remember PS VR2? No? Well, Skydance’s Behemoth Scheduled for Released Fall 2024If you’re not too sure about Skydance Games’ upcoming offering, Eurogamer’s Ian Higton has already tried it out and seems pretty excited about the whole experience.
The PS VR2’s catalog isn’t the most impressive. There are a lot of good VR games out there that work with it; there’s even a VR port of Resident Evil 7: Village, as well as Horizon: Call of the Mountain and Gran Turismo 7. But Skydance’s Behemoth (which will also be released on PC VR) looks like it’ll shake things up a bit.
From the studio that made The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, Behemoth is a relatively linear action-adventure set in a forgotten land; a setting that PS VR 2 brings to life beautifully. That’s not the most impressive thing about it, though, as Ian has plenty to say – and show – about brutal combat.
So put down that Skyrim VR save (and the 1000+ mods you installed for it), leave Blade and Sorcery VR on your virtual shelf, and see what Behemoth has to offer players. At the very least, you’ll get to see Ian slay some monsters, and if you ask me, that’s worth it.
