street fighter 6 It got a proper reveal earlier this week, but soon there were some pretty big leaks Capcom Did not ignore them.
As part of the State of PlayStation Gaming, Capcom gave us our first real look at Street Fighter’s next entry. Unfortunately for Capcom, however, it appears that the entire roster of the base game has leaked online, showing off 22 character designs. These include all eight characters from Street Fighter 2, plus more. But Capcom appears to be making strides as it acknowledged the leak via its official Street Fighter Twitter account.
“As residents of Metropolis, we’ve all seen things we shouldn’t, but we’re all in this together,” the account reads. “We appreciate all the positive responses. Thank you for your support!”
It’s unclear where the leak came from, but if you want to see the list for yourself, you can check it out on the Resetera thread. Some gameplay has also been leaked online, a clip Showing Cammy in her original outfit, in her new outfit (although leaked).
We’ve certainly seen gameplay in the latest trailer, but only with classic characters like Ryu and Chun Li, as well as newcomers Luke and Jamie. The game looks gorgeous so far, but what’s most interesting is the addition of an open world to the single-player portion of the game.
Nothing has been confirmed so far, but it looks like you will indeed be able to create your own character in some shape or form to explore Metro City. It’s unclear what you’re doing there, but the trailer does appear to be teasing that you can also fight your custom character. Capcom will obviously have more to show in the coming period, so we’ll have to wait for now.
This Resident Evil 4 State of Play has also confirmed a remake, so Capcom has a lot on hand right now.
