Capcom has made some good news, proudly announcing that it has lost its record of sales and profits again in certain consecutive years. This is done through quarterly financial reports released this morning.

The report continues to point out that the release of Monster Hunter Savage played an important role in this outstanding performance. It noted: “Sales over 10 million units worldwide contribute to the revenue due to the strong expectations of fans and the increased visibility through successful measures of various events and other events”.

Additionally, the report claims that wild excitement has also driven sales of previous champions in the series, including games like Monster Hunter World: Iceborne and Monster Hunter rose to see a considerable sales. Overall, the report highlights that the series sold more than 100 million units worldwide.

As for pure numbers and their paintings, the financial report explained that Capcom's net sales for the quarter were 16.6 billion yen ($1.14 billion/£870 million), an increase of about 11.3% over the period last year. In addition, operating income increased by 15.2%, which is not too shabby at all.

It's hard to beat Capcom, many of which (if any) franchises are currently available. The company's strategy of using the legacy IP it owns seems to be paying dividends and undoubtedly helping establish Japanese publishers as one of the biggest winners in the past few years. We have to sit down and see how it can keep this continuous time!
