Unsurprisingly, everyone Resident Evil 4 Remake Next year, it will be one of the most popular entries in the series. We’ve also got remakes of games two and three, and the original GameCube remake of the first game is still readily available, so fans are wondering if there’s a chance for a Code Veronica remake. Unfortunately for those hopeful, Capcom says the focus now is on the Resi 4 Remake.
While speaking with Noisy Pixel, Resi 4 producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi was asked if he would be interested in a Code Veronica remake. But the producer says his focus now is on developing Resi 4 Remake to make it the best experience for fans. While there are no specific plans for a remake of Code Veronica, he did say that if “the opportunity arises, maybe.”
It’s no surprise that Resi 4 Remake is in the spotlight now, considering it’s Capcom’s next big title, but it does leave some room for non-numbered titles to have a chance to take the spotlight again.
Fans are also expecting a lot from the remake, as the game seems to be going pretty well so far, with Leon’s knife getting a bit of a makeover, as well as some new additions to stealth kills. The game also stays true to its roots, as briefcase storage hasn’t changed, so you can still craft all your various items to maximize your gear load in classic Resi fashion.
