Capcom has announced that it will be hosting a showcase next week, June 12th.
During the presentation, the company plans to share new information about “upcoming and future product launches.”
The digital campaign also helps celebrate the company’s 40th anniversary.
You can listen to it on Monday, June 12 at 3pm PT, 6pm ET, 11pm UK. It will last approximately 36 minutes.
It’s possible Capcom will reveal that it’s in the planning stages for its next Resident Evil Remake. If the latest survey it released ends around June 12th.
Considering Capcom has already remade a few Resident Evil games, it wouldn’t be surprising to see another remake. The latest Resident Evil 4 Remake has been a hit for the company, selling 3.7 million copies since its release in March 2023.
If a Resident Evil remake wasn’t announced, there was sure to be something everyone was interested in hearing and seeing during the presentation.
Other IPs the company owns include Street Fighter, so we might hear something new about Street Fighter 6, but also Monster Hunter, Devil May Cry, Dinosaur Crisis, Onimusha, Lost Planet, Okami, Marvel vs Capcom, Dead Rising , The Lost Planet, Ace Attorney and more.
Of course, or we hope, the company will reveal more information about Dragon’s Dogma 2, which we seem to have longed for.
We’ll just have to wait and see what happens on June 12th.
