Big news today for 2XKO! Not only did we finally find out the fighting game’s correct name, but we also revealed the team behind the game’s soundtrack. One name on the list might catch your eye…
Casey Edwards is best known for creating the Devil May Cry 5 soundtrack and is a member of the 2XKO OST team. The musician, who has written songs such as “Bury the Light” and “Devil Trigger”, was announced as joining the team on 2XKO audio manager Eugene Kang’s Twitter

While Edwards’ involvement was hot news, he clearly wasn’t working alone. He will be joined by several Riot Games composers, including Mike Pitman, Richard Thompson, Joe Ford, Jesse Zuretti, Tre Watson, John Scherer and Tauseef Anam. Judging from the music we heard in the name reveal trailer and the tracks we heard in the Evo 2023 demo, it’s worth the wait.
According to MobyGames, this will be the third fighting game produced by Edwards, the first two being “Mortal Kombat 1” and “Killer Instinct.”Edwards later released his own statement regarding the news on twitter
“Excited to announce that I’ve been working on Riot’s fighting game 2XKO (formerly Project L) along with some other talented composers and producers! This is the third fighting game I’ve worked on and I’m excited for you guys to make it Everybody hear what a difference this makes.”
