Notice: spoilers for chapter 1129 of the One Piece manga
After offering big surprises about the location of the Straw Hats crew, chapter 1129 of the Straw Hats manga One Piece has revealed more details about where Luffy and his companions are following the events prior to their arrival on Elbaf, the island of the giants.
In this chapter, we discover that they are in a gigantic room, where they are chased by a huge giant. Eiichiro Oda reveals to us that this mysterious enemy is nothing more and nothing less than Roada member of the new crew of giant pirates commanded by Hajrudin.
Through a flashback, we see how Road discovered that the Pirates had passed through a sleeping fog that left the Straw Hats asleep, at which point one of the giant’s servants took them to his room. Road couldn’t stand his captain swearing allegiance to Luffy in Dressrosaso he decided to capture the Straw Hats with the aim of turning them into his “living dolls”.
After knowing this plan, Nami has already calculated the dimensions of the room, allowing the crew to quickly escape and destroy a wall, finding a way outside. Although the exact location is not revealed, Luffy’s reaction suggests that what they find outside is of great importance. We’ll have to wait until the next chapter to find out what has made the Straw Hats captain so happy.
