Oblivion Remastered Players Are Learning About Vampirism And Its Downsides
Yes, being a vampire in Oblivion is nice, but it has downsides.
Just based on its visual presentation alone, the game deserves a spot among the most impressive titles of the upcoming season—something we’ll be able to see firsthand next month.
Closed Beta Launches in June (PC Only)
The MMORPG’s Steam page has announced a private testing period for next month, with sign-ups already open.
“This closed beta is our invitation to players around the world to help shape the future of our ambitious project,” reads the official statement from Chrono Studio.
With no release date yet, the beta will be limited to the PC version:
“We’re looking forward to playing with you and hearing your thoughts on the game.”
A World at War: Welcome to Setera
Chrono Odyssey (not to be confused with Chrono Trigger or Chrono Crossto which it has no relation) takes us to the world of Setera, caught in the middle of a war between cosmic horrors and divine forces.
The first step will be choosing from three available classes in the beta, which will expand to six in the final version. Additionally, the robust character creator will allow us to design a hero tailored to our preferences.
Open World, Bosses, and Time Manipulation
As a true MMORPG, it features a vast open world, bosses, dungeons, side activities, and a unique element in the genre: the Chronotector.
This artifact lets you freeze and rewind time, opening up a wide range of combat possibilities throughout the adventure.
It’s a core mechanic that defines the game and will be included in the beta, allowing players to deflect attacks and perform combos by manipulating time.
The use of this time device isn’t limited to combat; you’ll also travel to past eras to uncover key events in the story.
Along the way, the game offers other familiar genre elements:
- Resource gathering
- Farming and mining
- Social interactions through trading
These classic MMO features ensure depth beyond the battlefield.
Multiplayer and PvP Content Confirmed
Chrono Odyssey will also feature a strong multiplayer component for tackling the toughest dungeons as a group, without forgetting about PvP content.
One of the best-looking games you’ll be able to try this June, coming from the creators of Great saga and continuing the legacy of Korean hits like Stellar Blade.
