The cities that has been plagued since the launch of problems: Skylines II is slowly but surely becoming running gag. Now the first large DLC was moved backwards.
Colossal Order is eager to serve the last sympathy in terms of cities: Skylines II. And they are no longer big anyway. Only the devastating launch, the reset of the console versions and then a number of shifts from the smaller DLCs Beach Properties Asset Pack, Urban Promenades and Modern Architecture Creator Pack and Bridges & Ports. In addition, the disappointing release of the Beach Properties DLCs … The list is long.
And now there is a shift again. The Bridges & Ports expansion, which was actually planned for this quarter, slips backwards vigorously and is now not to be released in the fourth quarter.
“We have worked hard on the DLC 'Bridges & Ports' for the last five months and prepared ourselves for the early publication,” says a statement. “After checking the content ourselves and shared with our early access group, we have consistently received positive feedback: the bridges are super exciting and the harbor works well, but there are a few aspects of the expansion that are not quite as good as they could be.”
“That made us a difficult decision,” it continues to postpone the publication again to add more depth, or to publish it as it is, knowing that the players might feel incomplete. We believe that the current content is fun, but we are aware of what is still missing, and to get it to the level that you deserve more time … Early-access group and plan what we want to improve until the expansion of the fourth quarter of this year.
After all, the update planned for the release of the expansion with a handful of new content is to be released as planned on June 11th. However, the minds of the fans should calm this rather little and there is still no statement about the outstanding console version.
