A New Era for Civilization

Civilization VII appears to mark the beginning of a New era for the franchise. Some changes work exceptionally well, while others may not be as effective. Certain design choices help reduce empty turnsmaking the game more accessible for newcomers. However, some veteran players might find the simplifications less appealing. Given the current gaming landscape, these changes could be a smart move to attract new audiences.
