Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is in the process of conquering the player hearts by storm. Two milestones were cracked within a short time and the steam numbers look great.
What a game year. After crackers like Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Split Fiction, Monster Hunter Wilds, Blue Prince and Assassin's Creed Shadows, the next title is now sending the players.
The round -based role -playing game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is just clearing out. On the first day, 500,000 copies were sold, at the weekend the game cracked the million mark on sold (!) Exemplars, even though it is also available for free in the game pass.
This also fits the number of players that the title on Steam could reach. There were over 120,000 players in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 on the way despite the Game Pass.
The first work of the French studio Sandfall Interactive also clears the ratings. At Metacritic it ran with a rating of 92 below the best titles of the year, and it reaches a whopping 9.7 out of 10 points in the user rating. And it also looks good on Steam, 92 percent of the 14,000 user reviews so far are positive. The concern that the game goes down during the Oblivion Remaster hype seems unfounded. That would have been too bad.
There is almost nothing about the game, which is not praised by players and critics, from type design to music to visual implementation and the fights. Colleague Matthias was (completely right) also enthusiastic about Clair obscur: Expedition 33: “Clair obscur: Expedition 33 is simply a sensation! Graphically, it is absolutely overwhelming: The epic bombast in the cutscenes, the fantastically designed game world between dream and reality, the optical peak of the Belle èpoque, the spectacular, the spectacular Special effects – you can hardly get out of astonishment.
