Cocoon is a sphere exploration, puzzle adventure game from Inside Lead Game Designer

Annapurna Interactive is serving as the publisher for this new title, which, unsurprisingly, is heading into Day One of Game Pass.The game comes from a former lead game designer suspended animationbest known for in and LimboJepe Carlson.

While it was announced at the Xbox Showcase, Cocoon is also coming to PC and Nintendo Switch, but no release date has been set.

The announcement trailer shows the player character, a villain that looks like a bug, as the orbs they carry contain entire worlds that you can move in and out of. Each sphere seems to have multiple functions, like powering some tech, and it looks like you have to figure out where to put them and when and when not to go into them.

You’ll also face gargantuan and terrifying guardians, though it’s unclear if this is through puzzles or combat.
