Usually bid Double XP actions the perfect opportunity to level up in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone and advance Battle Pass progress faster. Last weekend from May 1st to May 4th, the whole thing backfired. While all players wanted to hunt XP, CoD's servers failed across the board and matchmaking became chaos.
Many players did not count earned experience points and in numerous lobbies you had to wait minutes for a match, if one ever happened. But the developers want to make up for it!
That's why they simply started the campaign again: From now on and still until Friday, May 8th, at 7:00 p.m. German time you get the following in-game bonuses when gaming:
- Double experience points
- Double weapon XP
- Double the speed of Battle Pass progress
So take this opportunity, because these bonuses allow you to level up extremely quickly. Precisely because, after the latest update, the best and worst of all playlists is available again: With Shipment 24/7 and double XP, you will quickly rise in level and in your Battle Pass tiers.

Developer apologizes for weekend chaos
One of the CoD developers also spoke on Twitter. Joe Cecot, the co-design director of the multiplayer from Call of Duty, writes there that Developers are just as frustrated as the players. He also thanks the patience of the community and explains that it is extremely painful if technical problems keep players from playing their own game.
It's really painful when we have issues that prevent players from playing our game. We feel and share your frustration. Thank you to the many devs who cranked through the weekend to get things on track again and thank you for your patience. Let's get back on that grind! https://t.co/tQ2AxtovsG

By the way, we recently had an exclusive interview with the same Joe Cecot. There he told us, among other things, why in Play of Lists (must) continue to change in Call of Duty and why CoD requires an incredible 190 GB of storage space.
