What’s behind the Time to Kill?
TTK means “Time to Kill” in full and is a measure of the time it takes to kill another player in Warzone. The value is largely determined by the damage values of the weapons and is the main reason that players bite into the virtual grass so quickly.
With a well-balanced time to kill, the player who opens fire first has a well-deserved advantage. Nevertheless, the opponent still has a fair chance to win the exchange of fire. In addition to the type of weapon and armor, personal skills also play a role, of course.

The TTK was last reduced in March – so strong that the community went on the barricades. The basic tenor of many players: Even the greatest skill can no longer prevent the attacked person from emerging from the battle as the victor. A reaction to the fire has become almost impossible.
The developers vow to get better
The situation should soon relax again. An upcoming update will adjust the balance of many weapons to increase the time to kill by an estimated 60 to 100 milliseconds. That might not sound like a lot, but it’s a noticeable change in a competitive shooter.
When exactly the update will be released has not yet been announced. But there is always talk that the TTK change should happen in the course of Season 4. Since each season in Warzone runs for an average of two months, players should be able to expect the adjustments soon.
The community reacts positively to the announcement. Numerous users are happy that the fights should be more fun again due to more equal opportunities. A user on Reddit sums up the prevailing opinion well:
“I’m really excited about this change. I think it will make the game feel fresh again.”
