Reduced player numbers
Developer Raven reduces the number of players per match 120 players. Before that, 150 warriors competed against each other in the Battle Royale. According to Raven, it is an experiment, the midgame on the new map Caldera less unfairly claustrophobic
to design.
At the same time, the developers explain that they are now using the data and opinions of the players keep a close eye on to determine if the customization keeps the gaming experience at an enjoyable level.
However, the larger numbers of players are not really disappearing. At the same time, a new mode for 150 players is also coming.
Neuer Modus: Champion of Caldera
Champion of Caldera reads the paper like classic Battle Royale – only harder. 150 players jump over the map and fight to be the last one alive. So far, so well known. With one important difference: the circle, which closes in phases in normal Battle Royale, continuously decreases in Champion of Caldera.
That should go a long way hectic battles and constant flow of movement care for. To make this even possible, players start with their personal loadout, a gas mask against the kill zone, and a revive token.
Also important: kills immediately regenerate all life energy and fill up the ammunition, which particularly rewards aggressive playing styles.

Speaking of Caldera: The new map is now also given a function in the classic Battle Royale, which has already changed the flow of the game at Verdansk.
New subway on Caldera
The Pacific Warzone map Caldera gets Reloaded with Season 3 a subway system, similar to that on the predecessor map Verdansk. Each of the towns on Caldera has a bus stop. This allows players to move quickly through the landscape.
On the map you can see the connections and travel directions:
Neuer Perk: Serpentine
CoD: Warzone receives a new perk from Call of Duty: Vanguard with Serpentine. The advantage ensures that her take less damage while sprinting. With the new perk, users can better dive from cover to cover and remain more flexible in fights, but also traverse large and open areas more safely.
Attackers can recognize it by an icon that appears when shooting at Serpentine users. This will tell you to adjust your tactics accordingly.
These are just the biggest innovations of CoD Warzone: Season 3 Reloaded. The complete patch notes can be found on the official site.
