Kevin James is primarily known as a likeable package messenger from King of Queens, but the 59-year-old American is from his hard side in Guns Up. There he plays the ex-police officer Ray Hayes, who has now made a name for himself as a debt collector at the Mafia. However, he keeps his double life secret in front of his family … until a failed mandate puts his favorite people in danger. As can already be seen in the trailer, his wife Audrey (Christina Ricci) also knows how to defend himself, the children even make a comparison to the action hero John Wick. Of course, a few comedic interludes should not be missing from a Kevin James film, but overall at least the trailer does a rather serious tone.
