From Italy it came to us in 2020 Daymare: 1998, a work that was intended to act as a spiritual ode to the Resident Evil more classic, specifically the second. A good reception of the title has now allowed the studio to announce the arrival of its prequel.
Invader Studios, along with publisher Leonardo Interactive, have revealed Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle, the new game inspired by the same universe that will come to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One and PC via Steam. Here you have the chilling advance that they have left us.
With a date of launch planned for 2022, the work will put us in the shoes of the special agent Delilah Reyes, which works for the HADES unit and must intern at the most advanced experimental research center in the United States.
Of course, the reception will not be the most pleasant. The undead and nightmare creatures they will be waiting for us along with a plot that promises to reveal the past of some of the characters from the first installment. The interface will have a deep redesign and will allow us to manage our inventory in a simple way.
Thanks to a device on his arm, Reyes is able to analyze parts of the environment and reveal new puzzles to solve, discover secret documents and detect hidden items. The atmosphere will be really nostalgic remembering those survival horror from the 90s, with levels of challenge to match the experience.
