The first of two extensions to Control will be released later this month.
Remedies have been announced for release date controlBasic expansion. The add-on will be released on PC and PS4 on March 26, while the Xbox One will be released on June 25. In the meantime, Remedy released a short new trailer.
The Foundation's story saw a star plane collide with the oldest house, and Jesse will "traverse the Foundation's cave" to prevent this from happening. The DLC will also reveal the fate of operations director Helen Marshall, who was missing at home.
The oldest house is one of the best qualities of Control; the ever-changing settings of many concepts in the game, and the expanded features will reveal more about the game and the more mysterious board.
In mid-2020, the final extended version of Control, AWE, will be released. When Remedy first teased it, it strongly suggested that it involve Alan Wake in some way.
